Naac grades Delhi’s JNU A++, its highest accreditation
Vice Chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar said the high ranking was a result of a ‘collective effort of the JNU community’.
Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University was graded A++ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, making it one of the best institutes in the country. Its grade last year was A.
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council, or Naac, reviews higher educational institutes in India. Its grading is based on several parameters, including facilities for research, infrastructure and resources, among others. Naac’s A++ grade is its highest.
JNU Vice Chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar said the high ranking was a result of a “collective effort of the JNU community”. “I am sure this will inspire us to work harder to reach even higher goals,” he said.
