Passenger allegedly slaps an Air India staff member at Delhi airport after missing flight
Both women agreed on a compromise and said they did not want any action.
A woman passenger allegedly slapped a staff member of Air India at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday after reaching late for her flight to Ahmedabad, ANI reported. She had reached the check-in counter at 4.18 am, for the flight scheduled at 5 am, DNA reported.
When the passenger was denied boarding, she got into an argument with a female staff member and slapped her, a senior police official at the airport said. The staff member also slapped her back, after which the matter was reported to the police, ANI reported.
“Later, both parties compromised and said they did not want to take any action,” the police official told ANI. “The matter has been filed.”
