Delhi: Class 12 student allegedly commits suicide, relatives say neighbours harassed her
The girl left behind a note in which she named some boys who allegedly molested her.

A Class 12 student allegedly committed suicide at her home in North West Delhi’s Bakhtawarpur area on Friday, NDTV reported. The girl’s relative said she had taken her own life because her neighbours harassed her.
“She did it because the neighbours used to stalk her and also threatened to kill her parents,” the unidentified relative said, according to ANI. The girl left behind a suicide note in which she named a few boys who allegedly molested her.
The teenager’s body has been sent for autopsy. A case has been registered under sections relating to abetment of suicide and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Rohini Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajneesh Gupta said the main accused in the case was identified as her physical trainer who allegedly harassed her. “The accused is absconding and efforts are on to identify him,” Gupta said.
