The Bihar Police have arrested four boys for allegedly molesting a girl and videotaping the incident in the state’s Jehanabad district, ANI reported on Monday. The state police formed a special investigation team to look into the video that went viral on social media on Saturday.

The contents of the video have not yet been verified, but some reports said the boys have admitted to their role in the incident.

Two of the people arrested resembled the attackers in the video, while the other two allegedly recorded the incident, Patna Zonal Inspector General Nayyar Hasnain Khan said. The police are still looking for the others in the video, also believed to be teenagers.

The video clip showed the group purportedly laughing as they tried to strip the girl. One of them lifted her off her feet when she tried to kick him. A motorcycle seen in the clip helped the police trace the accused, NDTV reported.

The police have filed a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
