The police in Jharkhand’s Ramgarh district arrested a 26-year-old man on Monday for allegedly raping a disabled woman in Bhadwa village, PTI reported.

The accused allegedly raped his cousin, who is hearing and speech impaired, in the early hours of Saturday when she had gone out to relieve herself, said West Bokaro police station chief Rameshwar Bhagat.

The complainant has been sent for a medical examination, the police said. This is the second such incident reported from the district in the past week.
