Jawaharlal Nehru University to organise convocation in August after a gap of 46 years
The central university has asked eligible students to register online to obtain their PhD certificates at the convocation.
Jawaharlal Nehru University will be organising its second convocation since its establishment in 1969. The university had its first convocation in 1972. The second convocation will be held on August 8, after a gap of 46 years.
“All research scholars, who have completed the requirements for the PhD degree, between [January 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018] are eligible for the conferment of PhD degree at the convocation,” a notification posted on the university’s website said.
The notification asked eligible students to register at www.jnu.ac.in/convocation to obtain their PhD certificates at the convocation. The last date of submission of registration form is July 15 and forms will only be accepted through online mode.
