Haryana: 40 men allegedly rape woman for four days in Panchkula, two arrested
The district and sessions court has sent the two arrested accused to 14-day judicial custody.
A 22-year-old woman from Panchkula district in Haryana has alleged that 40 men raped her after holding her captive in a guest house for four days from July 15 to 18, PTI reported on Friday.
The woman said in a complaint filed with the Chandigarh Police on Thursday that one of the accused was known to her husband and had promised to give her a job at the guest house in Morni Hills, a tourist attraction in Panchkula.
Ranjit Singh, the station house officer at the Manimajra Police Station, said two staff members of the guest house have been arrested in connection with the incident. The two accused have been identified as Honey and Avatar, the Hindustan Times reported. The district and sessions court in Panchkula has sent them to 14-day judicial custody.
