A petrol bomb was hurled at former All Indian Anna Dravida Munntera Kazhagam leader TTV Dinakaran’s car outside his home in Chennai’s Adyar area on Sunday afternoon, reported ANI.
Dinakaran was not in the car when the attack took place but three people, including his driver and his personal photographer, have been injured. The rear windshield of the car was damaged, reported News18.
A disgruntled member of Dinakaran’s Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam is suspected to be behind the attack, reported The Hindu. The police said Bullet Parimalam was upset after he was sacked from his post of town secretary. Investigation is under way, said the police.
More details are awaited.
