Union Home Minister Amit Shah admitted to AIIMS for post-coronavirus care
A statement by the hospital said the 55-year-old leader has been complaining of fatigue and body ache for the past two to three days.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi on Monday night, PTI reported. He recovered from the coronavirus last week.
“Home Minister Amit Shah has been complaining of fatigue and body aches for the last 3-4 days,” the hospital said in a statement. “He has tested negative for Covid-19. He has been admitted to AIIMS for post Covid care. He is comfortable and is continuing his work from hospital.”
Reports said Shah was taken to the hospital around 2 am.
Shah had tested positive for the coronavirus on August 2 and had announced on August 14 that he has tested negative. He was under home isolation after being discharged from the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
