Amitabh Bachchan faced the brunt of Twitter when he tweeted a picture of the all-male crew of 2016’s sleeper hit Pink on September 16. The film was released a year ago on this date.
T 2549 - The team of 'PINK' .. all in one frame .. and .. ALL, independent, individual .. NATIONAL AWARD WINNERS !!🙏 pic.twitter.com/uQV55nUQsO

The courtroom drama, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and co-written by Chowdhury, co-producer Shoojit Sircar and Ritesh Shah, explores sexual consent and misogyny. Bachchan plays Deepak Sehgal, a lawyer who represents three women (Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang) whose attempts to seek justice for sexual assault are met with counter-charges of prostitution. The women are forced to defend themselves and their choices in court. One of Pink’s themes is the manner in which women who choose to step out of socially sanctioned boundaries are shamed and vilified. Sehgal’s assertion that “No means no” has been seen as one of the movie’s most feminist messages.
Thus when Bachchan failed to see the irony of sharing a photograph of all the men involving in the making of Pink but not one of its three female leads, Twitter did not spare him.
Has the irony killed itself yet or is it waiting for the all male "PINK" team to do it? https://t.co/FJh0b1YNgF
