The parodied Tamil hero is back. But this time as a police officer. Actor Siddharth unveiled the first look of Tamil actor and comedian Shiva’s Tamizh Padam 2.0
Directed by CS Amudhan, Tamizh Padam 2.0 is a sequel to the wicked Tamil parody Tamizh Padam (2010). Starring Shiva along with Disha Pandey, Manobala, Venniradai Moorthy and MS Bhaskar, Tamizh Padam was a delicious spoof of Tamil cinema’s cliched plots and characters.
As the tag line in the poster suggests, the sequel will be a chapter on the police officer (Police Athiyayam).

The poster also took a jibe at the incessant issue of piracy in Tamil cinema, by jokingly attributing its piracy partner to be Tamilrockers, the notorious bootleg torrent website. The film will be released on May 25, 2018.
