Tom Cruise has revealed the title of his latest Mission: Impossible movie on his newly launched Instagram account: Fallout.
The announcement of the title is one of two entries on the Hollywood star’s Instagram account. “The 55-year-old movie star… racked up over 550,000 followers in under an hour”, EOnline reported.
Directed by Christopher McQuarrie and starring Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg and Henry Cavill, the sixth entry in the franchise will be released on July 27.
Cruise has played intelligence operative Ethan Hunt since the first movie in 1996. Hunt heads the Impossible Missions Force unit, and has a reputation for getting out sticky situations and outsmarting the most brilliant of opponents. Each movie features numerous foreign locations and elaborate stunts performed by Cruise. The last movie, Rogue Nation, was released in 2015.
