Comedians Ali Asgar, Suyyash Rai and Sugandha Mishra will join the cast of Sunil Grover’s upcoming web series Dan Dana Dan, The Indian Express reported. Grover, Asgar and Mishra previously appeared together with Kapil Sharma in his comedy series The Kapil Sharma Show, along with Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar. Grover had left the show after he had a disagreement with Sharma on Twitter.
Also featuring Shilpa Shinde, Dan Dana Dan will be aired on the Jio TV app between Fridays and Sundays during the Indian Premiere League matches. It will reportedly feature the actors discussing the matches and highlighting humourous moments from the tournament. Comedians Paresh Ganatra and Suresh Menon will also make appearances.
The Kapil Sharma Show was taken off air in August last year, reportedly due to Sharma’s ill health. The comedian returned to television last week with Family Time with Kapil, a comedy show also featuring Sharda and Prabhakar.
