Streaming platform Zee5 is hosting a new Tamil web series titled Kallachirippu (Picture Perfect), produced by filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj (Pizza, Jigarthanda, Mercury). The series was premiered on July 23.
Starring Amrutha Srinivasan (Mental Madhilo), Rohit, Vikas and Rajalakshmi, Kallachirippu is about a young couple whose marriage goes horribly wrong when the wife accidentally kills her husband. “This sets off a chain of events that reveal the true nature of every character involved in this marriage,” the official synopsis reads.
The series is the second Tamil original web series on the platform after America Mapillai.
