The trailer for Vishesh Films’ next production Jalebi was released on Monday. Directed by Pushp Bharadwaj, the film stars debutant Varun Mitra, video jockey-turned-actress Rhea Chakraborty and Digangana Suryavanshi.
Written by Kausar Munir and Pushp Bharadwaj, the film tells a story about the “everlasting taste of love”, according to the trailer. Chakraborty’s character falls in love with a tour guide (Mitra) while she is on a holiday in Delhi. The couple gets married soon after and moves into Mitra’s house in Old Delhi. All is well until Chakraborty’s character gets a meaty job offer and wants to move out.
Jalebi will be released on October 12.
