Watch Chetan Bhagat and his imaginary mustachioed friend tell you about leadership
Chetan Bhagat has discovered video to give voice to his deep insights on life, the universe and everything.
This video, that India's bestselling author put on his YouTube channel on Tuesday, has him telling us what makes a good leader. He explains his epiphanous ideas to his CGI friend, Mucchi and through him to his adoring masses.
"To me leadership is simply to take charge" he says and that "leaders know their job." Adding that to be a successful leader you need good people skills.
This distill of self help books advice is presented by Bhagat as original content, the video ending with him asking for suggestions on other things he can talk about.
He had earlier given advice to the cricket team in the form of take more wickets, make more runs. To women he had suggested to be more ambitious and fight for property rights, to Salman Rushdie he had said don't make provocative statements. And he has now written a whole book on how to make India "Awesome"
What historians do, should be his homework for next week's video essay. Maybe he can unravel the answer to that mystifying question for us.
