Watch Michelle Obama rapping to get America's kids to college
The US President's wife teamed up with College Humor and 'Saturday Night Live' Jay Pharoah in the name of college
Who's the better singer in White House? Both Michelle and Barack Obama are uninhibited when it comes to lending their voice, but we have to say Michelle has, er, trumped her husband with her appearance on a rap video encouraging high school students to join college.
FLOTUS, as she is referred to somewhat inelegantly by virtue of being the "first lady of the United States" – it's really hard to think of someone as fabulous as Michelle Obama as an acronym – has been exhorting American kids to "reach higher" for quite some time now. This video shares her personal experiences as a student, working for a degree at Princeton.
Michelle matches steps with Saturday Night Live star Jay Pharoah – who has impersonated the US president on the show earlier – to make a happy, peppy rap video. You can't help but wonder whether an Indian head of state or their partner can even be so cool for a cause.
