It was a weekend of cup finals with fans in the top football nations watching the end-of-season final of their cup tournament. Our pick for the best goal of the weekend comes from the Estadio Nacional in Lisbon, where FC Porto's Andre Silva pulled off an amazing bicycle kick in the dying minutes of injury time to level the score 2-2 against Sporting Braga. Unfortunately, despite forcing extra time, Porto ultimately went on to lose via penalties.

In France, Zlatan Ibrahimovic finished his career with Paris Saint Germain in perfect style, scoring two goals as PSG comprehensively outclassed Marseille 4-2 to win the French Cup final.

Catalonian giants Barcelona continued their triumphant march, winning the Copa Del Rey – and the Spanish double – defeating Sevilla 2-0 despite playing with 10 men for much of the game. Lionel Messi had a role to play in both the goals – which came in extra time – one scored by Jordi Alba and the other by Neymar.

Over in England, long-suffering fans of the Red Devils finally had something to cheer about as Manchester United came back from a goal down to win the FA Cup against Crystal Palace.

And last, but definitely not the least, it was a time to celebrate for a club much closer home as well. Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan wiped away some of the disappointment of finishing second in the I-League, thumping Aizawl FC 5-0 to win the Federation Cup final in Guwahati.
