On Sunday, cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan announced a plan to "occupy Islamabad". Khan, who leads Pakistan's opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf or PTI, said that party workers would block roads leading to government offices in order to force Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign.

In a previous video, Khan had asked for donations for his protest. A new video posted to PTI's Facebook page that shows the 64-year-old former cricketer working out has been captioned: "Kaptaan's lifetime of training for this very decisive moment, it's been a long time coming! Be very afraid Nawaz Sharif."

The video is just of Khan going through the motions of his workout, accompanied by his trainer. He touches his toes, does crunches and works his obliques.

Why this video would be a warning to his opponent would be a question best answered by the former Pakistani cricket captain.

Perhaps he was influenced by politicians around the world showing off their physical prowess to convince voters why they were fit to be in office. There's Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his 56-inch-chest. Russian premier Vladmir Putin swims in ice-cold water. Meanwhile, Donald Trump frequently likes to point out that he does not have small hands.
