If there’s anyone who still believes India’s new Rs 2,000 notes have embedded chips that will track their movement – and thus keep tabs on potential black money – this video is for that person.
But because not every Indian has a sense of humour, this tongue-in-cheek display by José Covaco – RJ, DJ, and comic artist – of the so-called chip in the note hasn’t gone down well with everyone. Zealous defenders of the nationalist spirit were rather upset. For instance:
