The latest must-have gadget for adults and children alike that has caught the imagination of the world is the fidget spinner. And when there’s a fad, there has to be an attempt to set – or break – a world record.

So, someone has put forth the claim of having made the world’s largest fidget spinner.

In the video (above), Tony Fisher admits that there is no official record yet, and that if a larger one is officially recognised by Guinness World Record, he will change the title of the video. His homemade fidget spinner stands 2.8 metres tall, with a diameter of over 3.3 metres. Though it weighs nearly 20 kilograms, that did not stop Fisher from lifting it over his head and spinning it.

An inventor and puzzle-creator, Fisher also hold the Guinness record for the world’s largest Rubik’s Cube. After building the cube, he spent nearly two days solving it:
