Dinesh Sunar is not an ordinary police officer in Nepal. Apart from maintaining law and order, the 24-year-old is also a stuntman and parkour athlete, earning him the nickname “Parkour Dinesh”.

Sunar recently set a Guinness World Record for the “most twisting backflips off a wall in one minute (parkour)”. The dizzying number of backflips he achieves can be seen in the video above. Amidst applause and cheers, Sunar managed to complete a staggering 18 flips during the event in Kathmandu.

These are not ordinary backflips either. The rules for the physically demanding trick are very specific – each flip must be a full mid-air 360 degree rotation backwards, and the performer must also rotate their body 360 degrees in a barrel-roll twist while in the air, and then land facing the wall.

The record-holder, who is currently president of the Parkour Freerunning Association of Nepal, has been doing parkour since he was a 15-year-old and utilises his athletic abilities as a member of the local Armed Police Force, as well as a stuntman in Nepali films (and one Bollywood film).
