Singing Queen’s majestic Bohemian Rhapsody has become a coming of age ritual for amateur musicians around the world. And listeners inevitably rank the performances they hear, almost all of them on social media.

The marvellous performance (above) of the song by a children’s choir for the eighth season of Georgia’s Got Talent must take its place somewhere near the top (along with this video of Green Day fans spontaneously singing the song). Not only did the talented youngsters sing it note-for-note, but they also magnified its intensity with their body language.

The judges and audience were quick to appreciate the performance, at least some of the credit for which must go to conductor Gela Parchukidze. The video has gathered hundreds of thousands of views, and has been shared widely by pages dedicated to Queen or Freddie Mercury.

The talented choir made their debut on the show by performing Louis Prima’s Sing, Sing, Sing (With a Swing) for the auditions (video below):
