For ten giant panda cubs, the new year meant new beginnings.
The new year has brought a new beginning for ten giant panda cubs who were given a shot at independent lives. As 2018 came, they were separated from their mother after reaching a certain age and moved into an independent living area.
The cubs at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, in China’s Sichuan Province, seem to have taken the move quite well, judging by the video above. They stuck together, played, lazed, and munched on the leaves within reach. Happy new year!
But then, baby pandas always know how to usher in a new year. The one in the video below is seen doing the two things that matter – eating and napping.
