It’s true that he was in the right place at the right time, but it still took an extraordinary effort by this police officer in Egypt. He caught a young boy who fell from the third floor balcony of a building – so smoothly that the boy came to no harm at all.

Security camera footage (above) released by Egypt’s Interior Ministry showed three policemen on the pavement beneath an apartment complex preparing a sack to cushion the fall of the boy they had noticed dangling from the third floor balcony.

But as it turned out, there was no time for elaborate preparations. Reports say that neither the police officer nor the boy had any serious injuries.
