Watch: This shopkeeper from Indore has got himself two rare pets – a pair of iguanas
At Rs 2 lakh, they didn’t come cheap.
Cuddly? Perhaps not. Playful? We don’t know? A crowd-puller? For sure!
Raju Sagar, who owns a local juice stall in Indore, recently got his new pets – a pair of rare iguanas, bought from Mumbai at a modest Rs two lakh. We assume he enjoys their company, but his customers cannot have enough of this innovation on home pets, as the video above shows.
At four and a half feet, they’re not exactly small, and Sagar is clearly in love with them. He assures us that they are harmless, and vegetarian to boot. “You can even leave a baby alone with them and they won’t harm it”, he says in the video. Sagar, who has had several lizards as pets earlier, marvels at their beauty and allows people to come in, touch or even play with his iguanas.
