He’s not a professional singer. But Bhupinder Singh, a head constable of Chandigarh Police with a very special talent for singing, uses his skill to inform citizens of traffic laws in a most unusual way.

Singh is known to croon about traffic rules and road safety to pedestrians and drivers on the streets of Chandigarh. Each of his songs, all of them self-written, features a unique message on road safety. His latest song (above) is a message against incessant and unnecessary honking.

According to The Tribune, Singh has worked on 15 songs and has gained considerable popularity – in fact, his songs can even be downloaded as caller tunes. He is working on his next song, which is on incorrect parking.
