There is no dearth of parodies of Arnab Goswami’s high decibel rants. But possibly the best-known one has been the comedy group The Viral Fever’s series Barely Speaking with Arnub, which is back with a new celebrity interview.
This time, it’s Anil Kapoor on the hot seat, being interviewed by Biswapati Sarkar’s impersonation of the anchor, aka Arnub.
The video is replete with mild jokes about Kapoor and his films, including Mission Impossible 4, Ram Lakhan, and Slumdog Millionaire. In comparison to the pitched verbal battles fought on the programme it spoofs, Barely Speaking is thankfully free of humiliation, shouting and bluster.
