The latest of these are a video of an Indian Navy diver rescuing a pregnant woman, and another of a child being airlifted.
The woman, whose water bag had broken, was hauled up to safety after a doctor was lowered to check her condition. She was taken from the rooftop of a building in Kochi to the Sanjivani Multispeciality Hospital in Chengannur, Alappuzha district, where she successfully delivered her baby.
The child in the second video was rescued in Kochi’s Aluva municipality by flight diver Amit and Pilot-in-Command Cdr Vijay Verma.
