When Zeb Soanes from London, England, made an unlikely friend, even he may not have known where it would lead. Soanes befriended a fox and they may well qualify for the term BFF.

The duo met when Gaspard had injured his leg. Now, Gaspard waits for Soanes, who works at BBC Radio, to come back home every day. As foxes go, he’s a bit spoilt, being fed by hand and taken for walks, besides having an Instagram account.

Of course, if it hadn’t been for Gaspard, Soanes would probably not have written Gaspard the Fox, a children’s book, with illustrations by James Mayhew.

But, as it turns out, his neighbours are not happy. Foxes are meant to be in the wild rather than around homes, and local residents Gaspard may encourage more of his brothers and sisters to join him.
