Watch: Cyclone Tauktae submerges roads, tears down houses in Kerala and beyond as it intensifies
The cyclone has already caused heavy rainfall in Goa and Karnataka and is expected to hit Gujarat and other parts of the west coast over the next few days.
My thoughts and prayers with the people of Kerala affected by the #CycloneTauktae 🌊🌧️. This is real climate emergency!

3pm, 15.05.21. This is how our West looked minutes before a huge rain lashed us with gusty winds from NW. As CycloneTauktae keeps providing moisture from the Arabian Sea, rains are back with a bang here. It's been raining heavily for more than 30minutes. pic.twitter.com/ojJ9aNiIUX

#Kasaragod This house on Moosodi beach of Mangalpady panchayat belonged to Moosa. He had rented the top floor to a family of migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh. Both the families moved out two days ago. #CycloneTauktae @xpresskerala pic.twitter.com/8vmcXSIrYM
