Camels, cattle and lots of colour. That's what the annual Pushkar festival, one of the world’s largest livestock fairs, is all about.  Inaugurated on October 31, this year's edition is expected to receive more than 9,000 animals and over one lakh human visitors. 

But it's about more than just cattle-trading. Towards the end of the fair, religious and cultural events dominate the event. There are also quirky items, like the the longest moustache competition.
