The foreign minister was speaking at an event on the New Delhi's Red Front grounds to mark the 5,151st anniversary of the Gita, organised by organized by an RSS-affiliate. "I am happy to say that the prime minister has already given it the honour of a Rashtriya Granth when he handed over the Shrimad Bhagwad Gita to America's President Barack Obama," Swaraj said. "Only a formal announcement now remains."
She went on to advise psychiatrists to read it to patients who were suffering from depression.
