As the February 7 assembly elections in the national capital inch closer, the humour around the political drama is getting sharper.  In May, when India went to the polling booth to vote in 543 MPs, a slew of parody accounts popped up on Twitter. Several of these accounts have now been resurrected as the Bharatiya Janata Party's Kiran Bedi battles Arvind Kejriwal for the chief minister's chair.

parody account Fakeriwal, which claims to be Kejriwal’s diary, is making fun of everything from AAP's manifesto to his antics at rallies.

At the same time, the Marendra Nodi handle has been finding humour in everything the prime minister does, everything from the controversial suit he wore while meeting Obama to his sleepy Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar.

Another popular parody account, RoflGandhi, seeks to broadcast the thoughts of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi but doesn't lose out on any opportunity to make fun of Kejriwal, Modi or even Bigg Boss.
