Andhra Pradesh man seeks liquor loan for drunkards from CM Chandrababu Naidu
P Yesupadam said a loan of Rs 400 per month and other benefits from the government would be welcome.
A man from Andhra Pradesh has appealed to Chief Minster Chandrababu Naidu to provide financial help for drunkards as they are generally ignored. P Yesupadam, who claims to be a loyal supporter of Naidu, produced a video in which he seeks a loan of Rs 400 per month for drunkards, Deccan Chronicle reported. The video was uploaded on Facebook by his friends on Sunday.
In the clip, Yesupadam introduces himself and goes on to explain the problems he faces because of his addiction and lack of money to buy alcohol. “I can’t stay stable without liquor, and there are many in the state like me. If the government gives loans and other benefits, we would be thankful. Many political parties have been formed but no one has formed a liquor party,” he said.
