CBI will target AAP leaders Manish Sisodia, Satinder Jain next: Arvind Kejriwal
The Delhi chief minister said that the officers working under his two ministers are being asked to get 'something wrong' signed by them.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday alleged that his deputy Manish Sisodia and Aam Aadmi Party leader Satinder Jain will be the next targets of Central Bureau of Investigation raids. Kejriwal attributed the allegation to sources in the Prime Minister's Office. He said that the officers working under Sisodia and Jain are being asked to get "something wrong" signed by them. In yet another attack on the prime minister, Kejriwal said that the "truth is on our side" and Narendra Modi "cannot do us any harm".
In December, the CBI had raided Kejriwal's office and said it was targeting his principal secretary Rajendra Kumar for alleged corruption. The AAP chief then accused the Centre, which administers the CBI, of orchestrating the raid to access files related to the Delhi and District Cricket Association. Kejriwal accused Finance Minister Arun Jaitley of financial irregularities during his 13-year tenure as the cricket body's head. Jaitley then filed a defamation suit against Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders.
