Seven killed in a shooting spree in Michigan
Police arrested the suspect, who drove around and shot people dead in three locations in Kalamazoo County in the United States.
At least seven people were killed in a shooting spree in Kalamazoo County in Michigan, the United States, on Saturday. Eight people were shot in three locations, and authorities believe the incidents are related, CNN reported. Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas said it appears as though “we have someone just driving around, finding people and shooting them dead in their tracks”. Police believe they have the suspect in custody, Kalamazoo Public Safety Chief Jeff Hadley said, adding that they recovered a gun from the suspect’s car.
The first shooting took place around 6 pm local time. A woman, who was with her children at the time, was shot four times in the parking lot of an apartment complex. She is in critical condition. At 10 pm local time, two other people were shot to death at a car dealership. Later, a few miles away from the dealership, four other victims in two cars were shot and killed outside a restaurant, Matyas said.
