Olympics tennis: Mirza-Bopanna lose in the semi-final, will have to play for a bronze medal now

The Indian mixed doubles pair of Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna lost 6-2, 2-6, 3-10 (third set tie-break) to Venus Williams and Rajeev Ram of the US in the Olympics mixed doubles tennis semi-finals on Sunday. While it is no longer in contention for gold or silver, the pair will now play for the bronze medal.
The Indian duo won the first set with ease, breaking the Americans twice to clinch it 6-2. However, the Americans upped their game to bag the second set 6-2, breaking the Indians twice. Then they ran away with the third set tie-breaker despite a good start by the Indians, winning 10-3 to pocket the match and progress to the final.
