Mumbai: Two dead in fire at Cuffe Parade residential towers
Around 11 people were rescued after the blaze broke out in Maker Chambers.

Two people died in a fire that broke out at Maker Chambers, a residential complex in Cuffe Parade, Mumbai, on Tuesday morning. The blaze reportedly started around 6.30 am in the A wing of the 20th floor. Chief Fire officer P Rahangdale said around 11 people were rescued.
The cause of the fire is being investigated. Eight fire engines, six tankers and an ambulance had been sent to the apartment complex for rescue operations. The building belongs to Shekhar Bajaj, managing director of Bajaj Electricals, The Indian Express reported.
