Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) released the list of 124 candidates whose application for the Civil Services Exam 2018 has been rejected due to non-payment of fees. The notification released today states, “Confirmation has NOT been received from the Bank Authorities regarding receipt of Fee of Rs.100/- in respect of the 124 candidates for Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2018.”

However, candidates can appeal the decision within 10 days by providing hard copy of the original receipt to the Under Secretary (CSP), UPSC, New Delhi by hand or via speed post. The last day to submit the evidence is March 26th.

If candidates have made payment through cash mode to State Bank of India, they need to submit the original pay-in slip. Those who have used an online payment system (debit/credit card or net banking) need to submit either the card statement or bank account statement.
