The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final result for the recruitment of 27 Senior Scientific Assistants (Mechanical) in the Directorate General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.

Twenty-five candidates have been recommended for appointment. The names of the recommended candidates are published on the official UPSC website. The advertisement for the position was released in July 2016 and the computer-based tests were held in September 2017.

In a notification released on Wednesday, the Commission said that two Scheduled Caste (SC) positions remain vacant due to non-availability of suitable candidates. Of the 25 candidates selected for the MoD, three were recommended one-year training and one candidate was recommended six-month training.

The details of the result (i.e. official cut-off marks) will be released on the UPSC website within 30 days.

  2. Under the ‘What’s New’ section, click on ‘Final Result: 27 Posts of Senior Scientific Assistant (Mechanical), Ministry of Defence’. 
  3. Click on the link under ‘Documents’ section. The names of recommended candidates are mentioned in this PDF document.

The official notification for the positions was released on July 9, 2016. The computer-based test was conducted on September 03, 2017 and the interview round was held from March 5th until March 12th, 2018.
