Results for the SSC MTS 2016 exam have been revealed. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has given a firm date for the final results of the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) examination 2016 in a notification released on Thursday.

The final result date for the non-technical category of the MTS was tentatively expected on April 27th, 2018, but now the Commission has notified that April 30th is the firm date of the SSC MTS results.

Initially, the SSC had conducted the MTS 2016 exam on April 16th, April 30th and May 5th, 2017. This exam consisted of two written papers - Paper 1 was an objective-type question paper, while Paper 2 was a descriptive-type question paper. Paper 2 comprised of an essay or letter of 50 marks.

Later, the Commission held a re-exam of Paper 1 of the Multi-Tasking Staff (non-technical) examination 2016, due to paper leak. The Paper 1 re-exam was held in computer-based mode from September 16, 2017 to October 31st, 2017. This paper was of 100 marks and consisted of the subjects General Intelligence & Reasoning (25 marks), Numerical Aptitude (25 marks), General English (25 marks), and General Awareness (25 marks). The 90-minute exam had negative marking.

How to check SSC MTS 2016 results

  1. Log on to the official SSC website (ssc.nic.in).
  2. On the top menu panel, click on ‘Result’.
  3. Click on MTS/Others (whichever is relevant) on the top panel.
  4. Click on the link under the ‘Result’ section to check your result in the PDF document.

The SSC MTS exam is held every year for the recruitment of junior staff in various departments of the Central Government.
