UPSC 2018 Recruitment: Vacancies released for Engineers, Veterinarians and Marketing Officers

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released a notification of vacancies for 71 positions on Monday for various ministries and government departments. The vacancies include Marketing Officers (Agriculture), Assistant Director (Veterinarians), and Civil Engineers, and Engineering Lecturers. The last date to apply for all the above positions is May 17th, 2018.

The vacancy details are as follows

UPSC has released information on the qualification and experience required (if any), the details of which are as follows:

Marketing Officer (Survey, Training, Quality Control)

• Details of the department: Directorate of Marketing & Inspection, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
• Qualification and Experience: The position requires Master’s Degree in Agriculture or Botany OR Agricultural Economics OR Agricultural Marketing OR Economics OR Commerce with Economics. The position also requires 2 years’ experience in the field of Agricultural Marketing including Cooperative Marketing OR Diploma in Marketing Management awarded by the Indian Institute of Food Technology or equivalent institute.

Assistant Director

• Details of the Department: C.C.S. National Institute of Animal Health, Baghpat (U.P.), Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fishries, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare
• Qualification and Experience: The position requires B.V. Sc or B.V. Sc and Animal Husbandry Degree or equivalent degree; And M.V. Sc in Medicine or Virology or Pathology or Bacteriology or Microbiology or Immunology or Parasitology or Veterinary Public Health. The candidate should also be registered with Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council

Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)

• Details of the Department: Directorate General of Lighthouses & Lightships, Ministry of Shipping
• Qualification and Experience: The candidate needs to have a Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years’ experience in supervisory capacity in design, maintenance and construction of structural and reinforced concrete works.

Lecturer (Chemical Engineering)

• Details of the Department: Department of Training & Technical Education, Government of NCT of Delhi
• Qualification and Experience: Minimum qualification is Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in the Chemical Engineering with first class either at Bachelor’s or at Master’s level.

Lecturer (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

• Details of the Department: Department of Training & Technical Education, Government of NCT of Delhi
• Qualification and Experience: Minimum qualification is Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in the Electronics & Communication Engineering with first class either at Bachelor’s or at Master’s level.

Lecturer (Plastic Technology)

• Details of the Department: Department of Training & Technical Education, Government of NCT of Delhi
• Qualification and Experience: Minimum qualification is Bachelor’s Degree in Plastic Technology with first class either at Bachelor’s or at Master’s level.
