The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released admit cards for the 2018 Civil Services Prelim exam on its official website. The Commission is conducting the Civil Services 2018 preliminary exams on June 3rd, 2018 (Sunday) which will be held in two sessions. The morning session is scheduled to start at 9.30am while the afternoon session will begin at 2.30pm.

Candidates can visit the official UPSC website of upsconline.nic.in to download their admit cards for the Civil Services Prelim exam. The Commission has said that in case the photograph on the admit card is blurred, candidates will have to bring two identical photographs, one for each session, with an identity card such as their Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport and Voter ID card.

The Commission also released important instructions that candidates need to follow on the day of UPSC Civil Services 2018 Prelim examination. Admission to the examination centre will close 10 minutes before the scheduled exam time, so candidates are instructed to report at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time. The Commission also strictly instructed candidates to report only to the allocated venue.

The OMR sheets and attendance sheets can only be filled with black ball-point pen and no other writing instruments can be used during the UPSC Civil Services 2018 Prelim exam. In case students have any problems with questions, the Commission will allow candidates to submit their representation at this link, up to June 10th.

The Commission has also said that candidates will not be allowed to carry their mobile phones, electronic gadgets, bags, and valuable/costly items into the examination centre.

How to download UPSC 2018 Civil Services e Admit Card

  1. Click on this direct link.
  2. Read the instructions carefully and take a printout if needed.
  3. Click on the ‘Yes’ button at the bottom.
  4. Select either option of ‘By Registration ID’ or ‘By Roll Number’.
  5. Enter the required information and click on ‘Submit’.
  6. Your admit card will be displayed. You will have to take a print-out of the same and carry it to the examination centre during the UPSC Prelim exam.

The UPSC conducts the Civil Services exams nationwide to recruit for Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Foreign Services (IFS), Indian Police Services, (IPS), and others. This year the Commission has issued a notification on February 7th, 2018 for approximately 782 seats.
