The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) released results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), or class 12, and Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC), or class 10 exam today, May 9th at around 11am. Students of the CGBSE board can check their results on the official CGBSE websites, cgbse.nic.in and cgbse.net.

Shiv Kumar Pandey topped the CGBSE 12th class exam, scoring 98.4%. Sandhya Kaushik with 97.4% bagged the second rank, while Shubham Gandharva (97.2%) and Shubham Kumar Gupta (97.2%) secured third rank.

Yagyesh Chauhan secured the first rank in the CGBSE Class 10th exam with 98.33%. Mansi Mishra with 98% and Anurag Dubey with 97.67% secured the second and third rank, respectively.

The overall pass percentage in the CGBSE HSC exam is 77%, while that for the SSC exam is 68.4%. In both examinations, girls fared better than boys. The results were declared by CG Education Minister, Kedar Kashyap, at Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal, Raipur.

The CGBSE Class 10 board exam was conducted between March 5th and March 28th, while the Class 12 exam was held from March 7th to April 2nd. Around 4.42 lakh students participated in the CGBSE Class 10 exam and around 2.8 lakh students registered for the Class 12th exam.

How to check CGBSE 10th and 12th results

  1. Log on to either of the official CGBSE websites (cgbse.nic.in and cgbse.net).
  2. Click on Server 1/Server 2 under Class 10th or Class 12th 2018 result, whichever is relevant.
  3. Enter your roll number and The Captcha code and click on ‘Submit’.
  4. Your CGBSE result will be displayed.

The CGBSE is responsible for conducting 10th, 12th, and Diploma exams for all students in the state of Chhattisgarh. It was established in the year 2001 and started playing these roles independently in 2002.
