GSEB results 2018: Gujarat 12th science results declared at gseb.org; GUJCET results expected today
The GSEB 12th science exam results have been announced and the 2018 Gujarat HSC board exam has registered a pass percentage of 73%.
The Gujarat State Education Board (GSEB) 12th class or Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) science stream exam results were declared today, May 10th, by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB). Students can check their GSEB 12th science results online.
The Gujarat HSC science stream registered a pass percentage of 73% in the 2018 exam. Girls did better than boys with a pass percentage of 74.9%; boys registered 73%. Rajkot district emerged as the best performing district in the Gujarat 12th board exam. The total number of students who passed the examination stands at 98,067, which is out of the 1.34 lakh students who appeared.
The results for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) exam 2018 are also expected today. The GUJCET exam is conducted for admission to professional colleges for degrees in engineering and diplomas or degrees in pharmacy.
The results for Gujarat HSC science stream was released in Ahmadabad by education minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasam this morning and students are advised to log on to gseb.org to access their results. Students can also check the results at third party websites such as indiaresults.com.
How to check GSEB 12th exam results
- Log on to the official GSEB results website (gseb.org).
- Enter your seat number at the required field.
- Marks will be displayed, which can be printed out for reference.
The GSEB conducts the Gujarat HSC exam in two groups, one for general stream and the other for science stream. Around 7 lakh students appeared for the board’s 2018 HSC exam of which 1.34 lakh appeared for the science stream examination. The HSC science steam exams were conducted from March 12th to March 22nd this year. The GSEB class 10 result in expected on May 25th, GSHSEB chairman AJ Shah informed.
In 2017, the GSEB declared the HSC science stream result on May 11th and the pass percentage for the examination was much higher – 81.9%.
