The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the final results of its Junior Engineers (JE) Examination 2017 today, June 23rd. Candidates who are awaiting the SSC JE 2017 results can check the official SSC website, ssc.nic.in.

A total of 1,280 candidates for Civil and Quantity Surveying & Contract Engineering, and 319 for Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, have been shortlisted for final selection. The Commission is going to conduct document verification for shortlisted candidates, after which the Commission will makes its final selection for the positions.

The cut-off marks for Civil and Quantity Surveying & Contract Engineering were 244.75 for the unreserved category, 220.75 for SC, 228.00 for ST, and 244.75 for OBC. A total of 420 candidates were shortlisted from the unreserved category, 197 from SC, 147 from ST, and 503 from OBC.

For Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, the cut-off for unreserved category was 303.5; it was 299 for OBC, 268.5 for SC and 265.5 for ST. A total of 132 candidates from unreserved category were shortlisted, 44 from SC, 21 from SC, and 110 from OBC.

The Commission further stated that the marks of the candidates who participated in the JE 2017 Paper-II exam will be uploaded shortly at the SSC’s official website. The JE 2017 examination’s Paper-I result was declared on April 13th and around 5,800 candidates had qualified for the Paper-II exam, which was conducted on April 29th.
