The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of its recruitment drive to fill 15 positions of Assistant Public Prosecutor and 47 positions of Public Prosecutor for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

The computer-based test for the post of Public Prosecutor was held on November 25th, 2017, with the interview round running from May 7th to 14th, 2018. The test for the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor was also held on November 25th last year, while the interview round was conducted from May 1st to 4th, 2018.

In two separate notifications released on Tuesday, June 26th, the Commission listed the names of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to these 62 positions in the CBI. The initial advertisement for all these positions was released on October 22nd, 2016 and the online computer-based exams were conducted on November 25th, 2017.

Candidates who appeared for the Public Prosecutor exams can check their results on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. Click on the respective direct link to the UPSC notifications of the final results for public prosecutor and assistant public prosecutor. Candidates will have to check for their name among those shortlisted.

Some of the shortlisted candidates have been recommended to undergo between three months and a year of training, the details of which are available in the official notification. The Commission has also notified that it will release other details such as the cut-off marks within 30 days.
