UPSC CAPF 2017 final results declared, Commission recommends 170 candidates for vacant CAPF posts
Chirag Garg secured first rank at the UPSC CAPF 2017 exam, followed by Vikash Kumar and Siddharth Singh. 170 candidates have been recommended for 190 vacancies.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the final results of the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) examination, 2017 on June 29th. The CAPF final results can be accessed at the official UPSC website.
The Commission has recommended 170 candidates for recruitment to vacant CAPF posts, 80 of whom are from the general category, 52 from OBC, 26 from SC and 12 from ST. The UPSC recruitment drive aims to fulfill 190 vacancies in various services, including the BSF (28), CRPF (78), CISF (21), and SSB (63).
The UPSC CAPF 2017 was a computer-based exam which was held on July 23rd, 2017, while the interview round (or the personality test round) was held from May 7th to May 17th, 2018.
The CAPF 2017 final results also featured a merit list. Chirag Garg bagged first rank in the CAPF 2017 exam; he was followed by Vikash Kumar and Siddharth Singh. The notification also featured roll numbers of 43 provisional recommendations.
