Mumbai FYJC first merit list released at mumbai.11thadmission.net, last date to apply is July 9th
Results of round one of Mumbai’s FYJC centralised admission system have been released and most renowned colleges have cut-offs above 90%.
The first merit list, or the results of round one, for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions to Mumbai colleges have been released on Thursday, July 6. Admissions for colleges affiliated to Mumbai University are done through a centralised allocation process.
All students who have registered in the centralised systems for FYJC admissions can check the MU merit list on the official website, mumbai.11thadmission.net. The cut-off percentages for most well-known colleges were above 90%.
For instance, HR College set a cut-off a percentage of 92% for FYJC commerce admission, while NM College and St. Xavier’s College set theirs at 94.2% and 90.4%, respectively. For its arts stream, St. Xavier’s had a cut-off of 94.2%.
How to check Mumbai FYJC 2018 merit list
- Click on this direct link to access the first FYJC merit list details.
- Enter your six-digit application form number and click on ‘Search’.
- If you have been allotted a college, all related information will be displayed, such as the name of the college allotted, merit number, allotted preference number and stream.
The last date for students to submit their applications in the first round of FYJC admissions, based on the first merit list for 2018, is July 9th, before 5 p.m. The University will display a list of the remaining vacancies on July 10th, and the second merit list will be declared on July 13th.
This year, Mumbai colleges will conduct four rounds of admission for FYJC applicants. Once the colleges complete 70% of their admission quota, they can begin junior college (11th standard) classes.
